There is great irony to Israel’s instinctive response to terror attacks on Jews in Europe — and the devastating attack last week on a kosher grocery store in Paris was no different.
Pack your belongings! Flee! Escape, Israel urges the Jews of France.
A government that never misses an opportunity to lecture the Western world about the pitfalls of surrendering to terrorism is proposing exactly that — surrender — to the Jews of France.
Surrender followed by immigration to Israel, where surrender is not an option.

El asesinato colectivo de periodistas y caricaturistas perpetrado el miércoles 7 en la redacción de Charlie Hebdo dio lugar desde aquel mismo día a cientos de glosas acerca de la libertad de expresión o de prensa atacada, los valores republicanos pisoteados o la cultura occidental amenazada. Ha habido también lamentables insinuaciones sobre el supuesto mal uso que los responsables del semanario satírico hacían de aquellas libertades, sobre su “humor deliberadamente ofensivo” y tal vez demasiado provocador...… Seguir leyendo »

The murderous attack on a Jewish school, and before that on French soldiers, has brought a strong emotional reaction in France. Once again, the specter of disenfranchised and radicalized young French Muslims hovers over the destitute neighborhoods of France’s cities. Fifty years after the end of the war in Algeria, a new kind of civil war seems to be raging.
A closer look, however, shows that the picture is rather different.
