L’élection d’Ebrahim Raïssi à la présidence iranienne est un scandale. La montée au pouvoir de celui que l’on appelle « le boucher » à cause de sa responsabilité pour des milliers d’exécutions extrajudiciaires, de disparitions forcées et de cas de tortures, laisse présager des jours sombres pour le peuple iranien. Après plus de quatre décennies d’une théocratie sanguinaire, les souffrances des Iraniennes et des Iraniens convoquent nos démocraties à répondre de façon appropriée à l’affront d’avoir promu comme interlocuteur du monde celui qui devrait être jugé pour crimes contre l’humanité.
