Former Secretary of State John Kerry said moving our Israeli embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem will cause "an absolute explosion in the region."

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas claimed doing so "will destroy the peace process."

France's foreign minister, Jean-Marc Ayrault, condemned the idea saying, "One cannot have such a clear-cut, unilateral position."

Most editorial pages have panned it.

The fact that many are condemning it is exactly why President Donald Trump should keep his campaign promise and follow through on the provocative move.

But only if the goal is truly a sustained peace where Israeli and Palestinian children can enjoy the violence-free future they deserve.…  Seguir leyendo »

Consider this absurdity.

You live in a tough neighborhood and fear your neighbors, so you do the logical thing — you buy a new lock for your front door.

But learning of this your neighbor is outraged and says: "How dare you. If you install that lock, I will be forced to break into your house to protect myself."

Say what? Absurd, if not downright crazy, right?

But such is the dynamic we now enjoy with Russia, our former Cold War foe that is cyber-rattling again.

Specifically, when Russia learned last week that NATO was proceeding with its missile defense system in Europe, Russia's military chief of staff responded that "a decision to use destructive force preemptively will be taken if the situation worsens."…  Seguir leyendo »

Adolf Hitler'sNazis murdered 6 million Jews — 6 million girls, men, grandmothers, babies, uncles, neighbors, women, fathers, friends, sisters, colleagues, cousins, lovers, boys, mothers, aunts — 6 million human beings. Though Hitler's main target was Jews, he also exterminated 5 million other people, mostly Catholics, homosexuals, gypsies and the handicapped, to support his master race ambition.
